Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University is a public research university established on 8 February 1918 in Tbilisi, Georgia. The university has five branches in the regions of Georgia, seven faculties, 60 scientific-research laboratories and centers, a scientific library, seven museums, publishing house and printing press (newspaper Tbilisis Universiteti).

Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia

The activities of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation under the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia are aimed at ensuring the rational use of funds for financing science, creating a unified system of financing science and building public confidence in it. The fund collaborates with leading and international research organizations and jointly organizes grant competitions. Nodar Kekelidze Materials Research Institute at Tbilisi State University

Founder of Materials Research Scientific-Research Institute (MRITSU) is Academy Member of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Nodar Kekelidze. The Institute was named after his death in 2019.
Stimulating the research of the Institute (MRITSU) with its related institutions and universities, gives opportunities to develop of different viewpoints and new ideas.
